Elite cars are a series of high-performance and extensively modified vehicles in Need for Speed: World.
The series was first introduced on December 14, 2011 with the release of the Koenigsegg CCX "Elite", and quickly garnered headlines for both being the a new "premium" tier car and the most expensive car offered in Need for Speed: World.[1]
Each "Elite" car is fitted with a special series of visual modifications that are only available on that vehicle. They are also fitted with skill mods and high-performance parts to make them very competitive within their performance classes.
"Elite" cars can only be purchased with SpeedBoost, although some exceptions were made during the "End of the World" event as it lead closer to the sunsetting of the game's servers.
