Standard cars in Need for Speed: World are stock cars offered with no fitted aftermarket parts, no equipped Skill Mods, and any installed performance parts depending on the currency required to purchase the car.
The selection of standard cars available to players differs depending depending on the currency required to purchase a car, the type of car, and the current offering of cars per rotation.
The number of available vehicles that can be redeemed with in-game Cash () from the Car Dealer varies every two weeks with a single D class, C Class, B class, and A class vehicle being retired alongside another vehicle from each class being made available.
A single vehicle is also made available for redemption for in-game Cash at random for the duration of each other weekend before a rotation. The period of availability for the random vehicle is from Friday 12:00 UTC to Monday 12:00 UTC.
Cars can be purchased using either of two currencies; Cash and SpeedBoost.
Standard cars redeemable with Cash are not equipped with any aftermarket parts, performance parts, or Skill Mods. They are highlighted within the Car Dealer with a Cash icon () and a bold white price tag.
Standard cars redeemable with SpeedBoost are installed with Tuned Amerikon Speedsystems performance parts, but are not equipped any aftermarket parts or Skill Mods. They are highlighted within the Car Dealer with a SpeedBoost () and an orange price tag.
