Cop cars in Need for Speed: World are a style series of cars models based on various police departments in the Need for Speed series and real-life agencies around the world.
The series was first introduced on November 16, 2010 with the release of the SCPD inspired Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro "Cop".
All "Cop" style cars are fitted with aftermarket parts including Gromlen race tuned performance parts, body kits, licence plates and neons.
"Cop" cars can only be purchased with SpeedBoost, although some exceptions were made during the "End of the World" event as it lead closer to the sunsetting of the game's servers.
Functionality[]
Nearly all "Cop" style cars have a police light functionality; with the only exceptions being the Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro Cop Edition, Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 "Cop", and Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997.2) "Seacreast County Police".
There are two different functioning police lights; one only toggling police lights, and another toggling police lights as well as a siren:
- Police Lights: Pressing the "L" key can toggle police lights
- Police Siren: Pressing the "L" key can toggle police lights. Pressing "K" key can toggle a police siren.
