Downloadable Content for the PC release of Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit features add-on cars released throughout 1998 and made available through needforspeed.com. Players would be redirected to the download website upon selecting "Download Car" from the in-game car selection menu.

Each vehicle has an individual executable installer, as well as a separate installer for their respective showcases. Each executable has different localised languages; English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Swedish.

Ferrari 456 M GT
