The 1998 Nissan Silvia K's Aero (S14) is a 4-seater coupe manufactured by Nissan.
Initially sold from 1993 onwards, the S14 received a facelift in 1996, with the facelifted models being nicknamed "Kouki" from "Koki" (後期) referring to a latter period or S14A, and pre-facelift models being nicknamed "Zenki" (前期) referring to an early period.
The K's is a higher performance trim offered for the Japanese market, also sold as the 200SX 2.0 Turbo, is fitted with a revised engine from Nissan, the SR20DET "Notchtop", a single Garrett T-28 turbocharger, and a limited-slip differential. The "Aero" package has front fog lights, a rear spoiler, 5-spoke wheels, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, and a Kenwood sound system.
Alongside the K's trim (King), two other lower trim levels were offered; the base J's (Jack) and mid-level Q's (Queen).
Although both lower trim levels were offered with a naturally aspirated SR20DE engine, the mid-level Q's included central locking, alloy wheels, and a rear window wiper, which were on top of the central locking and side-impact protection of the J's.

The stock Silvia K's can be purchased from the "Buy Stock" section of the "Buy and Sell" menu in the garage for $45,000 and has a Tier B 116 performance rating.
Story[]
It is unlocked for purchase in the Story mode upon the player completing the "Prologue" and reaching Sunday, Week 1.
Lakeshore Online[]
It is unlocked for purchase in Lakeshore Online mode upon the player selecting their starter vehicle.
Starter (Prologue)
The starter Silvia K's can be selected at the beginning of the Prologue in the garage and has a Tier A+ 251 performance rating.
Story[]
It is offered as one of three starter cars available at the start of the "Prologue" for the Story mode but is taken away from the player upon completing the Saturday night session of the "Prologue" chapter.
Selecting it as the player's starter car will make the "legendary Custom" Silvia K's the reward for winning The Grand on Saturday night during Week 4 of the Story mode.
Custom (Epic, Stage 1)
The custom Silvia K's is an epic rated reward car and has a Tier A 208 performance rating.
Lakeshore Online[]
It is rewarded to the player in Lakeshore Online mode as a possible Weekly Rap Sheet reward.
Upon being rewarded to the player, it is added to their Lakeshore Online mode garage.
Custom (Epic, Stage 2)
The custom Silvia K's is an epic rated reward car that can be extracted by a player in the multiplayer Lockdown mode and added to their Lakeshore Online garage. It has a Tier A+ 261 performance rating.
Lakeshore Online[]
It is gifted to the player through the multiplayer Lockdown mode if they can find an example at a Lockup, gain access to that Lockup, jack the Hot Ride, and successfully extract with the car at a claimed truck.
Upon being gifted to the player, it is added to their Lakeshore Online mode garage, but is not made available for purchase from the "Buy Custom" section of the "Buy and Sell" menu in the garage.
Custom (Epic, Stage 4)
The custom Silvia K's is an epic rated reward car and has a Tier S+ 398 performance rating.

It is only offered as a reward if the player chose the Silvia K's '98 as their starter car for the "Prologue" in the Story mode.
The body kit is offered in Story mode upon the car being unlocked for purchase, but is unlocked in the Lakeshore Online mode upon the player winning 10 Tier A playlists in the Silvia K's.
Upon being rewarded to the player, it is added to both their Story mode and Lakeshore Online mode garages.
Alternatively, it can be obtained in Lockdown mode if the player can find it at a Lockup, gain access to that Lockup, jack it as a Hot Ride, and successfully extract with it at a claimed truck.
Upon being gifted to the player in this way, it is added to their Lakeshore Online mode garage, but is not made available for purchase from the "Buy Custom" section of the "Buy and Sell" menu in the garage.
Custom - Racer X's
Racer X's Silvia K's is an epic rated custom vehicle that can be purchased from the "Buy Custom" section of the "Buy and Sell" menu in the garage for $100,000 and has a Tier B 116 performance rating.
Story & Lakeshore Online[]
It is unlocked for purchase upon the player defeating Racer X in the Underground League during Volume 7.

- In Need for Speed: Unbound, the Legendary Custom Silvia K's is fitted with Sparco Circuit II QRT seats.
- In Need for Speed: Unbound, the custom Silvia K's featured in the game's reveal trailer appears as multiple rewards in Lockdown at varying degrees of customisation.
