Template:InfoboxCar2The Pagani Zonda Cinque is a limited production street-legal version of the Pagani Zonda R. The name "Cinque" means "five" in Italian and is a reference to its production number.

It has a wide black stripe following along its carbon-titanium fibre body lengthwise and a parallel red stripe along the centre of the body.

Need for Speed: World

Template:NFSWlink The Cinque was added to Need for Speed: World on August 24th, 2012. It has a price tag of SpeedBoost8,000 and appears as a Class S vehicle.

It is equipped with Gromlen race tuned parts and given an overall rating of 788. The Cinque had a Class A and overall rating of 744 before the patch of September 5th, 2012.

The handling traits of the Cinque were generally not obstructing its competitiveness in races. The steering was similar to that of the Pagani Zonda F, meaning it was prone to understeer when attempting to enter a corner at a sharp angle. In the field of acceleration, the Cinque was slighly more effective than the Zonda F and featured with a powerful nitrous boost too. Top speed is 220 mph (354 km/h).

Since September 5th, 2012, the Cinque received a significant improvement in handling. Its stiffness was completely eliminated, as it is capable of performing quick manoeuvres in the fashion of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. However, it also has a small chance of fishtailing. The acceleration of the Cinque was also increased, making it the fastest accelerating vehicle in the game.

Special Variants

On December 4th, 2012, a Drag variant of the Cinque known as "Sleigh Runner" was added to the game. It shares the same overall rating as the standard version, but is modified with drag skill mods for improved drag racing performance, a winter themed livery and aftermarket parts. Players can purchase it for SpeedBoost9,200.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)

The Cinque appears in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) in both an SCPD and Racer interaction. The racer variant is classed as an Exotic whilst the police variant is a Speed Enforcement unit.

Hot Pursuit also features a "NFS Edition", which is a special edition model of the Cinque. The NFS Edition Cinque only has a black stripe as wide as the original's red stripe. It is selectable in Orange or Orian Silver.

Players can unlock the racer version and the NFS Edition for 672,500 bounty. The SCPD version is unlocked upon the player collecting 906,250 bounty.

The Cinque is one of the best racer vehicles due to its high top speed and handling. It can enter and exit corners at a higher speed than similar vehicles, since drifting is not difficult. That way, players can gain nitrous quickly.

The SCPD Zonda Cinque uses the same driving traits but may not be as durable as other Speed Enforcement vehicles such as the Bentley Continental Supersports in Hot Pursuit though.

Need for Speed: The Run

In Need for Speed: The Run, the Zonda Cinque appears as a Tier 5 car and as a Tier 6 car, which is the "Shadow Signature Edition". Once the player has beaten fifteen objectives in the Exotic playlist, the stock version becomes drivable. The Shadow variant is unlocked after completing The Run Mode in Extreme difficulty.

As seen in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, the Zonda Cinque's main strength is handling, which is rated "Easy" in the game. Its top speed is comparable to that of the Porsche 918 RSR and Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4.

The Shadow Signature Edition has 880 bhp at 6,400 rpm and hits a top speed of 240 mph (386 km/h). 0-60 mph can be done in 2.5 seconds, which is impressive for a rear-wheel drive car. Similar to the Tier 5 variant, the Shadow Edition is focused on handling and is thereby featured with an "Easy" handling rating too. Top speed is average but can be beaten by some Tier 6 cars.

Roadster

Zonda Cinque Roadster in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

The Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is an open-top variation of the Zonda Cinque Coupe. It is technically equivalent to this car and was manufactured in a limited run of five units during 2009.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)

The Roadster appears in the same class as the Coupe version and can be unlocked upon collecting 906,250 bounty. It is also featured as a NFS Edition variant, which is unlocked in the same way as the standard variant. Both cars perform equally to their closed top counterparts.

Shift 2: Unleashed

The NFS Edition of the Cinque Roadster reappears in Shift 2: Unleashed as the HP Edition. Only players with a registered copy of Hot Pursuit may have access to the car.

The Cinque Roadster has a performance rating of A 2070 and has its handling rated at 4,71. Top speed is 224mph (360km/h). With a price tag of $860,000, the Roadster is significantly cheaper than the Lamborghini Reventón Police, another Need for Speed VIP gift for Hot Pursuit players.

The Cinque Roadster is a light car with outstanding handling and braking capabilities. Players can compete with most cars within its range effectively.

Trivia

  • In Need for Speed: The Run, the standard rims of the Cinque are not painted black.
