Peugeot is a large French car and scooter manufacturer founded in 1882.
Similar to Renault, the company mostly builds small compact cars with great success and has been active in motorsport since its early days.
Peugeot race cars have made many victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, WSC, Touring car racing, and rallying like Renault. They also participated in Formula One from 1994 to 2000 as an engine supplier.
