The 1971 Plymouth Road Runner (Gen. 2) is a muscle car built by the Plymouth and is part of the model's second generation, replacing the original Plymouth Road Runner.
Aerodynamics were improved over the first generation, resulting in better high-speed handling. For the 1972 model year, the front grille and taillights were altered as part of a facelift for the second geenration.
