The 1973 Pontiac Firebird (Gen. 2) is a pony car manufactured by Pontiac, and part of the second distinct generation of the model.
The second generation Firebird debuted in 1970 with major appearance changes including two front air intakes and two large headlights, as well as a characteristically large B-pillar. It underwent mild model year updates until receiving a facelift in 1977.
