The 1994 Porsche 911 Speedster (964) is is an open-top variant of the 964 generation Porsche 911.
Introduced for the 1994 model year, it is the second production iteration of the 911 Speedster, succeeding the 1989 model.
It is based on the 964 Carrera 2 platform, being a medium between it and the hardcore Carrera RS. It has the same engine as the base Carrera and didn’t have the same suspension bits as the RS, but thanks to a removable windshield and an stripped interior, it fit the role of driver’s car.
Production of the 911 Speedster (964) reportedly totaled only around 936 units.[1]
