The Porsche Panamera Turbo is a 4-door grand tourer produced since 2009. It is a direct adversary to other European luxury cars such as the Aston Martin Rapide and Maserati Quattroporte. On the same year the regular production version of the Panamera was revealed in the 13th Shanghai International Automobile Show.

The name Panamera is deduced from the Carrera Panamericana racing events, where Porsche had earned many class wins.

In the Need for Speed games

This car first appears in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) and its Wii counterpart. In its PS3, Xbox 360, and PC counterparts the Seacrest County Police Department uses it, while the racer version was only available as part of a offer from Dr. Pepper for the Xbox 360 but is also obtainable in the PC version through hacking. Its available for both sides of the law in the Wii version with the racer version being available after beating the Khalifa Apex Tour's Time Attack race in Dubai and the cop version being available after beating the Koppen CFA Tour's Time Attack in Chongqing while earning trophies in both events.
