"Race Jordyn's Crew" is a Campaign Story mission in Need for Speed: Heat.

It is the eighth mission of the campaign story, with it being the fourth mission of chapter 2.

With Oscar and Nari losing their sparring session to the player, Ana joins them as they take on the Dreamkillers and their leader Jordyn.

Completing "Race Jordyn's Crew" will progress the player to "Got Your Back", the fifth and final mission of chapter 2 in the Campaign Story.

Prerequisite

Before the player can start the mission, they must be at REP LVL 11 or higher, and have completed the previous two missions from Ana: "Take On Oscar" and "Take On Nari".

The mission recommends the player use a car with a 200 performance rating or higher and a grippy suspension setup for on-road.

Location

The start location for the mission is at an apartment complex in Mendoza Keys.

Synopsis

The player picks up Ana for their sparring race against the Dreamkillers.

The player has to beat the Dreamkillers crew; Jordyn, Oscar, and Nari, in "The Run" Sprint race event.

Synopsis

With Ana in the passenger seat, the player takes on the Dreamkillers crew in a sparring race, although it's three against one.

Synopsis

Having won their sparring race against the Dreamkillers, the player and Ana celebrate by driving to Lil' Chickie in Westside for a meal.

Arriving at the restaurant, they see Shaw's Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 '14 and the player wonder if they should maybe go somewhere else, but Ana decides they should stay.

Ana runs to the passenger side of Shaw's car as the player parks their car out of sight and, as she crouches down behind the passenger door, she takes out a set of keys are starts vandalising his car in an open car park.

As Ana scratches the paint on Shaw's car, he walks out from the restaurant unaware she's defacing his car and, with Ana potentially cornered by Shaw, he walks to his car but decides to lean against the bonnet, appearing to be waiting for someone.

Shaw takes a few sips from a drink he brought out of Lil' Chickie as the sound of a motorbike nears the car park, which arrives and parks next to him being rode by Eva Torres. They exchange unpleasantries with each other before both moving to the rear of Shaw's Camaro, although both look shifty as to the intent of their meeting, neither of them are aware of Ana's presence by the side of the Camaro.

Shaw opens the boot of his car to reveal large sums of money in bags. Torres is taken back by the amount and tries to point out that Shaw is taking more liberties than he should with their given situation, but he detracts from her sentiment saying that Mercer wanted him to press greater authority through his shakedowns.

Torres reaffirms that she feels Shaw and Mercer are becoming foolish with their increasing pressure, but Shaw points out that Mercer trusts him over Torres with their affiliation extends from before she joined them in the task force. Torres tries to sow mistrust between them, recognising that him and Mercer aren't friends in their arrangement and quickly irritates him, and receives a noticeable reminder that she could get into trouble on her motorbike in face of a car.

Whilst Shaw was threatening Torres, Ana manages to sneak away from his Camaro, and soon after Torres leaves, so does Shaw. As Shaw passes Ana and the player in the Lil' Chickies car park, it's revealed that Ana has scratched the head of pig into the door of Shaw's Camaro.

Shaw You seen what's out there? Shit's like Christmas. Oh, and I may have upped the fee. Torres Hey, we keep pushing like this it's gonna blow up in our face. Shaw Boss said go out and charge hard. That's what I'm doing. He trusts me. Torres Yeah, well then you're both a couple of dumbasses. Shaw Watch your mouth, Torres. Him and me go way back. Since before you were around. Torres You really think he's your friend? Man, that's almost sad. Shaw You be careful. Two wheels ain't shit against four. Bye.

Sweet Dreams

Objective

The player has to reach Lucas' garage or a safe house.

Synopsis

Having finished their meal at Lil' Chickies and wondering if they should go home, they hear over the police scanner that Shaw has realised his car has been vandalised and calls for all units in Westside to bust any racers.

With Shaw placing an all points bulletin, Ana and the player decide it's best to turn in for the night.

Ana I ate way too much. Player Same. Ana How about we call it a night? Shaw All units, some piece of shit has messed with my paint. Sweep Westside, bust anything you find. Ana I think that's a yes. Still can't believe the amount of money he must be riding around with. Guess when you got a badge, who's gonna stop you?

Post Mission

Synopsis

Beating the Dreamkillers in their big sparring race has given the player and Ana the chance to take them on for a spot in the League.

Transcript

Ana You sparring with the Dreamkillers made some waves. Player That so? Ana There's a serious race comin' up - crew versus crew , none of this one-on-one shit. If you keep goin' like this, getting noticed at night, we're gonna get in. That means a big step up the ladder. Just keep doin' what you're doin'.

Rewards

Completing the mission rewards the player with 15,200 and 4,000.
