Road & Track Presents: Over Drivin' DX is a localised retail release of Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed made available in Japan on April 19, 1996.

It was made available for PlayStation as a boxed retail game, but was localised with an aimed release within the Japanese market. There were no alterations with the game beyond offering a Japanese language option.

Over Drivin' DX also had a non-commercial, limited release for promotional use only in the form of Over Drivin' DX - Rally Edition in March 1996.

Additional localised releases aimed towards the Japanese market included Nissan Presents: Over Drivin' GT-R for Sega Saturn in 1996 and Nissan Presents: Over Drivin' Skyline Memorial for PlayStation in 1997, both of which replaced the original car list with various popular Nissan models.
