Rog is a character that appears in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Rog provides the player gameplay advice and announces Boss Race events from Blacklist members.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Rog is first encountered during the title's prologue as he challenges the player to a friendly race. After realising the player's racing skills, Rog starts to root for the player and sends them useful gameplay tutorials and tips. Rog is last heard after telling the player that they may challenge Razor for the number one spot on the Blacklist.

Rog drives a black and red Pontiac GTO. In the title's demo, he drives a Ford Mustang GT with an identical paint job to the GTO.

Trivia

• Rog provides the voice of all gameplay tutorial videos.
• During the opening sequence of a prologue race in the career mode of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Rog comments on the player's appearance in the Rockport street racing scene as a reference to the previous Underground series games taking place entirely at night time and the proceeding Most Wanted game taking place entirely during daytime.
• Rog shows distrust towards Mia. He advises the player to be cautious of her due to her long police record and her bets on the player. He also informs the player about rumours claiming that the player works for the police, which hint to Mia's undercover job. Likewise, Mia suggests the player to not reveal details about their deal to Rog.
• After the player defeats Earl, the number 9 on the Blacklist, Razor curiously asks the player about Rog's motivation for supporting the player.
• Rog is portrayed as Blacklist racer number 16 in early pre-release gameplay footage.
• The only known image of Rog comes from the trailer for the title's demo.
• Rog is sometimes mentioned as Roger in the game files of Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
• Rog is listed as one of the competitors in the Fortune Valley Speedcross Series in the Speedcross Story Bundle for Need for Speed: Payback.
