An SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) is a large station wagon with a high vehicle height. SUVs have appeared in the Need for Speed series with different body styles. They are not drivable in any game.

  • SUVs in Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Need for Speed: Carbon and the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii releases of Need for Speed: Undercover appear to be based on the 1997–2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and 2002–2005 Ford Explorer. In Need for Speed: Most Wanted, they are seen in yellow and are set to appear only in drag events. In Need for Speed: Carbon, they are depicted with advertisements for Progressive Insurance on their sides and are only seen in gray.
  • In Need for Speed: Undercover SUVs are depicted to be based on the 2003–2009 Dodge Durango. They are only seen in silver.
