Template:InfoboxCar2The Scion tC is a front-wheel drive coupe manufactured by Scion. The first generation Scion tC was produced from 2004 to 2010. Its successor was released afterwards.

The Scion tC has made frequent appearances in motorsport. WORLD Racing uses a highly modified tC as a drag race car whilst Team Need for Speed uses a tC as Time Attack race car.

Need for Speed: World

Template:NFSWlink The Scion tC was added into Need for Speed: World on May 17th, 2012 as Tier 1 car. It is purchaseable for 1,500 SpeedBoost and is also acquirable as Top-Up.

The standard Scion tC is equipped with "Gromlen" race parts, making it one of the fastest Tier 1 cars in the game. The Scion tC is a nimble car, although it may understeer in certain circumstances.

However, it can be easily outperformed by the Toyota MR2 GT-S and Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T, as the car has a notably weaker nitrous boost and slightly slower acceleration.

On May 31st, 2012 the "Red Juggernaut" variant was added into the game as a Top-Up gift. The "Red Juggernaut" is customised with a series of Aftermarket parts such as an unique license plate. It also comes with performance parts and a special Skill Mod which increases its weight during a collision as standard.

Need for Speed: Shift

The Scion tC appears in Need for Speed: Shift as Tier 1 car costing $20,000.

It has the lowest Car Rating among any other front-wheel drive Tier 1 car and cannot be equipped with a Works Conversion kit. Compared to the Honda Civic Si, the Scion tC has less horsepower but also produces more torque.

Shift 2: Unleashed

Shift 2: Unleashed features the stock Scion tC as Modern D car costing $11,500. The tC reimports its driving traits from the previous Shift installment and can be modified with a Works Conversion kit.

The game also features the Team Need for Speed Scion tC AWD. It is a heavily modifed all-wheel drive variant of the Scion tC.

It is classed as Modern A car and can be unlocked upon completing the Time Attack Discipline event. It has an overall rating of 1950, top speed of 210mph (338km/h) and a handling rating of 4.10.

The WORLD Racing Pro-FWD Reaper makes an appearance in the game as Modern A car with an overall rating of 2630. The Pro-FWD Reaper is a drag car based on the Scion tC.

It is capable of reaching 250mph (403km/h) and has the lowest 0-100 time in the game. However, the Pro-FWD Reaper has a difficult handling rating (2.82), making it a contender for drag events. It is only available in the Speedhunters Pack.
