Shift 2: Unleashed features two downloadable content packs which included additional cars, courses, and events.

Initially released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms in April and May 2011, it would be officially announced on June 17, 2011 that both packs would be made available for the PC release.

The Limited Edition release of Shift 2: Unleashed was made available for pre-order following an announcement on the official Electronic Arts website on December 16, 2010.

The Legends Pack was made available purchase on April 26, 2011 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases, and was made available for the PC release on June 20, 2011.

It is priced at £7.99 / $9.99 / €9,69 / ¥1,252 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases (800 Microsoft Points), although it is free for the PC release.
