Snowy Ridge is a course featured in Need for Speed: High Stakes.

Course

It takes place in the United States and is available from the beginning in the PC release, but is unlocked after finishing in the top three of the International Supercar Series in the PlayStation release.

The course is set along a snowy hill range with large elevation changes, twisting roads, and tight turns. The bottom has notable landmarks such as a doughnut shop and a gas station whilst the top of the hill range has various cable cars and a snowplow.

The police vehicles patrolling the course in Hot Pursuit are the Land Rover Discovery in the PC release or the Chevrolet Caprice and Lamborghini Diablo SV will patrol in the PlayStation release, although the Chevrolet Corvette will pursue in both releases.

Trivia

• In the PlayStation release, the route asphalt will be covered in snow if the weather settings are enabled for the course.
