Time Trials are special circuit races, which are only featured in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010).
The Need for Speed[]
In Time Trial races, players must race to beat a single time record set for the track to win.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2[]
In such racing events, the player has to beat three time records set on a track. They can drive overall three laps. By beating the best time record, racers win the gold medal. The silver medal is granted if the player did not manage to beat the best record but the second one. Yet, the bronze medal can still be obtained if the player hasn't ran a better time than the first two records.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)[]
Time Trials, also known as Previews, are racer only events available in single-player. The player must complete an A to B course in an amount of time and in a specific vehicle that is already chosen.
