The 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser (J55) is a series of four-wheel drive off-roaders manufactured by Toyota.
The Land Cruiser series is the oldest model range in Toyota's history, beginning back in 1954 with production continuing to this day. It has been produced in convertible, hardtop, station wagon, and utility truck versions. The Land Cruiser's reliability, longevity, and general toughness has led to huge popularity, especially in Australia where it is the best-selling 4x4 vehicle.
