The Tri-City Bay Police Department (TCBPD) is the law enforcement agency for the Tri-City Bay area in Need for Speed: Undercover.
Patrolling officers engage any seen felon believed to be involved with street racers or is a known reckless driver. A pursued vehicle is tracked by its Heat Level with that level increasing with the vehicle's Cost to State (CTS). A higher Heat Level on a car will attract more attention from police units.
The TCBPD communicates with several degrees of law enforcement such as civic officers, sheriff's department personnel, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and S.W.A.T teams. Each form of law enforcement utilises different vehicles and tactics to subdue felons.
The TCBPD has many resources available for law enforcement in the Tri-City Bay area. Jack M. Keller is a Lieutenant within the TCBPD and is also the supervisor of Chase Linh's investigation in organised crime. The player is an officer within the TCBPD that has taken an undercover role as a wheelman in Chase Linh's investigation.
Gregory MacDonald is a former Vice Lieutenant within the TCBPD but relinquished his role after discovering his employer was corrupt and his desire for illegal street racing.
