Zero Tuning Mods

Zero Tuning Mods is a fictional performance parts manufacturer featured in Need for Speed: World.

Their produced parts provide a statistically better acceleration performance boost depending on the installed component and are highlighted with a blue tint.

All of Zero Tuning Mods' parts are of Ultra level rarity meaning that they are excessively rare parts that and are not readily available to any user. They are amongst the highest category available for improving vehicle performance. They provide each of their parts in either Improved, Sport or Tuned quality.

Parts produced by Zero Tuning Mods are best suited for vehicles with a very wide power band between the maximum output of horsepower and torque such as an I4, I5 or I6 engines. They may also be reliant on a turbo for increased torque. Handling parts will improve the vehicles ability to accelerate and decelerate at the expense of top speed.

Availability

None of their parts are available for Cash within the Performance Shop section of the Safehouse. They can be acquired either from the Lucky Draw available upon the completion of any event or by purchasing Platinum Performance Card Packs.

Engine

Engines produced by Zero Tuning Mods provide an increased amount of torque at the peak output of the vehicle for increased acceleration.

Forced Induction

Forced Induction kits produced by Zero Tuning Mods provide an increased performance output for lower rev range turbo-chargers. They provide better acceleration by increasing output at a lower rev range but reducing output at a higher rev range.

Transmission

Transmissions produced by Zero Tuning Mods provide an increase to acceleration for a vehicle by utilising a shorter set of gear ratios. This is done at the expense of a shorter final drive and resulting in a lower top speed.

Suspension

Suspension components produced by Zero Tuning Mods provide a stiffer vehicle chassis with reduced body roll for better acceleration. This is done at the expense of a possibility for increased oversteer but this can be neutralised with a consistently understeering vehicle.

Brakes

Brake kits produced by Zero Tuning Mods provide an extremely effective and unbiased braking ability at the expense of an increased possibility of locking up under breaking.

Tyres

Tyres produced by Zero Tuning Mods provide an increase of traction for vehicles that produce a great deal of torque. Fitting these tyres can increase the possibility of oversteer.
